Riccardo Zangelmi - Forever Young
Story
The MAR – Museum of Art of the City of Ravenna, as part of the VI edition of RavennaMosaico, Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic, presented the exhibition entitled “Riccardo Zangelmi. Forever young” thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione del Monte of Bologna and Ravenna and Edison.
The exhibition consists of 20 works made with almost 800 thousand colored LEGO bricks, and according to the artist’s intentions, represents a real creative project made by objects, memories, and fantasies related to the world of childhood.
We are guided along the path by engaging sculptures depicting children, created specifically for the occasion, which bring us into a world and a time in which we ourselves had the freedom to create what our imagination suggested and to give shape to our imagination thanks to those same bricks.
